WHO WE ARE

Ticket Wala LLP is an online agent for the sale of tickets appointed and authorised by the event organisers. Our ticketing platform operates through our website www.ticketwala.pk.

This Privacy Notice (together with our End Users Terms of Use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

4.3 We may access social media content in the public domain and any direct messages you send to us via social media (e.g., posts, comments, pictures, videos).

4.4 We may check some of the information you provide against third-party databases.

6.5 If you post messages on forums or other message platforms we provide, we may process that information to respond, resolve disputes, provide support and troubleshoot.

8.2 Accounts are protected by username and password, which you should never divulge.

8.8 Certain services may include social networking, chat room or forum features. Do not submit personal data you do not want to be seen, collected or used by other users.

9 TO WHOM WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE DISCLOSED?

9.1 Your information may be disclosed for processing:

  • to event organisers where you purchase tickets or services connected to an event (they may send you marketing communications by e-mail, SMS, post, phone, social media);
  • to third-party consultants, (sub-)contractors, suppliers or service providers (e.g., email marketing companies, hosting/IT providers);
  • to auditors, contractors or advisers for auditing/assisting/advising on our business;
  • to analytics and search engine providers to improve and optimise our Websites/Apps;
  • to successors in title, prospective sellers/buyers, or Affiliates in a merger/re-organisation;
  • to government bodies and law enforcement agencies in response to legal/regulatory requests;
  • to third parties to enforce/apply our End User Terms of Use or other agreements;

  • Where you visit our website, purchase tickets, register for events, register interest in promotions, or otherwise consent, we may share select personal data (e.g., name, contact details, ticketing history, event attendance metadata) with event sponsors, brands and selected third-party marketing partners for event-specific campaigns, targeted marketing, promotions and sponsorship activations. Disclosures are limited to the minimum necessary and, where practicable, in pseudonymised or aggregated form.

9.2 Any social media posts or comments you send to us will be shared under the relevant platform terms and could be public. Please review those platforms’ privacy policies and terms.

9.3 When you visit our Website, certain data may be encrypted and shared with or accessible to integrated third-party providers, sponsors or brand partners whose services, promotions or functionalities are embedded on our Website. Such third parties may process data under their own privacy policies (including independent marketing/analytics). We do not control subsequent use of your personal data by such third parties.

9.4 Mobile app platforms. Our Apps run on third-party software platforms (e.g., Apple iOS, Google Android). Your usage is also subject to the platform provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Their use is governed by their privacy policies and terms. We use reasonable endeavours to select reputable third parties, require limited-purpose processing and appropriate safeguards.

10 YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO YOUR INFORMATION

10.1 You can write to us at any time to obtain a copy of your information and to have any inaccuracies corrected.

10.2 Subject to conditions, you may:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of personal data we hold about you;
  • request erasure (subject to legal exceptions);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (including direct marketing) where your rights and freedoms are impacted;

10.6 We try to respond to legitimate requests within one (1) month. Complex or numerous requests may take longer; we will notify you within one (1) month and keep you updated.

10.7 We may charge a reasonable fee where a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, or for additional copies; alternatively, we may refuse in these circumstances.
